The Blanket For my Grandson

Well I have been knitting like a mad women to finish this Blanket, still not done but should be done by the end of the week or early next week as I have only about 13 inches plus border left to do. I am going to have to knit faster as she is telling me that the baby could be here sooner than expected. I told her to tell the baby to hold off for a little bit later as my birthday is in the middle of the month and it would be nice to share it with my first grandbaby. Can't wait for him to get here so that I can spoil him.

Baby Blanket

As promised here is a picture of the baby blanket that I am making for my son and daughter in laws new baby that is due next month. I have about 8" of it done now. There is still a long way to go and not much time left so there will be a lot of long nights of knitting ahead. I could use that security job now that had all those quiet nights and weekends to work on it.

Aplogies For Not Being On Here

Sorry I haven't been on here in quit some time but I have been very busy, working two jobs moving a couple of times since starting this blog. Now I am still working the two jobs, but now i have my first grandchild coming at the end of February. Looking forward to that and spoiling the little one. I have finally finished that afghan I was making. So now I am working on a baby outfit and blanket for the little one that is coming. It is a boy so I can do it in blue. I am making him a nice blue and white layette set to come home from the hospital in. I will show pics as I go along on it.

New Projects

I know it has been some time since I last posted on here, but I am now working on some new knitting projects and will update this site more regular with more posts and also pics of each project as I am working on them and as I finish each project, I will add pics of the finished project.

New Pic Of Afghan

Sorry for taking so long to get some more pictures of the afghan that I have been working on and yes it is still work in progress as so much has been going on, but I did manage to steal sometime for myself and I was able to take this picture of it I will be working on it today sorry the color is off on it but I was having some camera issues. I hope to have the afghan finished in the next couple of weeks. With working on selling my house and my regular work during the week I have very little time to do much of anything, so I am not sure how or when I can fit it in but I will and hope to have the new Pictures of the finished working on here soon.

Sorry For Such A Long Absenence

Sorry everyone for such a long absence in posting on here. Lots have happened since the move. We have been renovating our old place so that we can put it on the market to sell it. Then I have gotten a promotion at work so I now work days which is great cause I no long do shift work and I have all my weekends off and all holidays off, and our business has really pickup since the move which is also great news. Then my computer went down and I just got it back up and running so I hope to be on here more with some new stuff and also pictures of that afghan that I had been working on.

Settled In

Well both moves have been completed now and we are settling in well, still a little busy so I have not had a chance to get the pics posted on here, but as soon as I have a few minutes free I will post the other pic of the smaller panel of that afghan. I now have four panels completed and have only one small panel left to do which won't take me long to do and then I can assemble the afghan and then post pics of the completed project. I am hoping to have it all completed and the pics post on here by Xmas.
